Men’s Fellowship Event

The men’s fellowship group, Band of Brothers, went bowling at Earl Anthony’s Dublin Bowl in Dublin, CA last Saturday, August 22, in the morning. Afterwards, barbecue was served at the Gozum residence in Pleasanton, CA, where they also had a short devotion.

Garage Sale

Following a successful fund-raising garage sale last August 8 and 9 at the Bandong residence in Fremont, we will be having another garage sale on August 29 at the Ramos residence in Fremont. At least half of the proceeds will go to raising money for expenses for Family Camp this coming September 11 to 13 in Felton, CA.

Church Picnic

Our annual picnic will be held on July 11, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the R&G Club located in the Chevron Richmond Refinery in Richmond, CA. There will be plenty of food so bring your appetite. The site offers lots of amenities for everyone to enjoy such as a large children’s playground, swimming pools, basketball/volleyball gym, bowling alleys and a rec room that has a pool table and table tennis.

It’s a Boy!

Congratulations to Pastor Alois and Ate May on the birth of their third son, John David. He was born last Sunday at 4 p.m. and came in at 8.5 lbs. and 20.5 in.!

Harbor House Bible Study is having a reunion on May 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sorrento Community Center. It’s located at 480 Perugia Street in Dublin, CA.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday, April 10, 2009, as we celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection. The children will perform a musical presentation entitled “The Tale of Three Trees.”

Good Friday Service

Join us to commemorate Christ’s death on the cross at our Good Friday service at Alta Mira Club at 6:30 p.m. on April 10, 2009.
